[BearwWthoutBorders] Storm clouds on civil liberties front

Barack Obama has shown very little sensitivity and respect for fundamental American civil liberties.  The man who, in 2008, promised to dismantle Bush 2's widespread domestic wiretapping instead expanded governmental spying far, far beyond anything his predecessor had ever dreamed.  Eric Holder's civil liberties record is extremely poor -- both during the Clinton administration, and now.

Obviously, Second Amendment issues are looming dead ahead.  The NRA and firearms people in general, I am sure, are not about to yield on those.

But there are other issues that could surface in this period of spontaneous and concocted fear and hysteria.  It's not at all inconceivable that the Obama administration could seek to prohibit or at least try an age limit on some video games, some TV, some films, even some print publications. These are the province of parents. I would assume the ACLU, and those committed to the First Amendment, are warily scouting the current turf.
