Hi Libtech

Citizen Lab has a new research post up today regarding our ongoing
analysis of LINE keyword filtering.

The summary is as follows:

On Wednesday September 24, 2014, regionally-based keyword filtering
features in the LINE chat app were updated. The most notable change is
the introduction of regular expressions to the keyword list, which
enables more advanced keyword matching. The addition of regular
expressions demonstrates LINE Corporation’s continued commitment to
filtering keywords for users based in China and a push to improve the
underlying technology.
